Hi! I'm Cristiane Armesto.
Since childhood, I’ve found in colors, textures, and shapes a way to express how I see and feel the world.
I’m a pedagogue, illustrator, and surface pattern designer, and I believe that art has the power to transform everyday life, whether through an illustration that evokes emotion, a pattern that brings lightness, or a detail that makes a space feel more welcoming.
Outside the studio, my days are filled with small handmade joys: crochet, macramé, air-dry clay, and gardening. These crafts connect me to the beauty of the handmade process, which is the same essence I seek to reflect in every piece I create.
I’m also deeply passionate about animals and nature. I grew up surrounded by them, and today I share my home with curious cats, a loyal dog, and the cheerful songs of free birds in my garden. This closeness to nature inspires my art and reminds me that art, at its heart, is about connection, with the world, with others, and with ourselves.
